Elvis in concert…. The Wonder of You

The Philharmonic Orchestra accompanied filmed concerts delivered by Elvis back in the day.  This concert at times made you think he really was singing on the stage. It was brilliant! You could not help but sing along to all the wonderful tunes.

The audience was full with Elvis impersonators, rockabillies, the older generation and the younger generation. There was so many quiffs & 50s skirts!  It was a huge mix of Elvis admirers.

The songs that were performed were:

It was a wide variety of Elvis songs played spanning over his entire career. You couldn’t help but dance and sing along!

The master of the ceremony was one of Elvis’ best friends, Jerry Schilling, and he would talk about Elvis’ life and present old photos. It was really interesting!

If you ever have the opportunity to go to this show, it is really worthwhile. Let me know if you have been, and what you thought! I would love to hear from you.

Back Soon…..

Ridiculously Retro xx
