Vintage Overcoats

I have a bit of an obsession for vintage overcoats…….but at least I can admit it, right! I think they are snuggly, stylish and so warm. The quality in their make and design is undeniable. The fact that they have lasted over so many decades is testament to this and many still look like new.

You can pick one up at vintage stores, charity stores, markets, garage sales or online. But do be careful as the vintage sizing is smaller than today’s sizing, so do check the measurements.

To get a stylish late 50’s early 60’s look you can wear a matching dress underneath.

This Crimplene jacket is warm and versatile. I am trying to find a brown or orange Crimplene dress to match this coat. I love the look of Crimplene!
