New Year……New Beginning!

So when midnight came on Sunday 31st of December 2017, everyone will celebrate the start of a new year and all the exciting adventures waiting to be experienced!

New Year Celebrations

So each new year we make New Years resolutions that we don’t always keep. Well in 2017, I managed to achieve half of my resolutions, so in 2018 I plan to meet them all!  Do you make New Years Resolutions too? Do you manage to meet them all?

Vintage New Year

Our celebration traditions include my family and two other family friends, and each year we take it in turn to have a New Years Party. We all sleep over and continue the celebrations on New Years Day. This year we also have the double celebration with a family friend’s 18th birthday

There are endless opportunities and adventures to look forward to at the start of each new year. What will the New Year bring? What excitement, sadness, fun and happiness lies ahead?

New Year Celebration

New Year is celebrated at different times all over the world. But we all celebrate and bring on the new year with a countdown, fireworks, resolutions, kisses, well wishing, and singing traditional songs like ‘Auld Lang Syne’.

Midnight- New Year

Many countries have different traditions be it burning scarecrows, presents in children’s shoes, breaking dishes, decorating, parades, bonfires, eating grapes, fist fighting, drumming, baking a cake, dropping the New Years ball, and so many others….

Rockabilly New Year

Let’s hope this year is a fantastic year for all of us. There is peace, health and happiness for everyone. I hope we all meet our New Years Resolutions. I know I plan too!
