Retro Diners

One of my favourite diners is Doughbox Diner at Enmore. It has a great 50s vibe.

When you first arrive at your booth they bring you a jug of water & hot popcorn. The food here is delicious and I recommend trying the crepe cones. They are my absolute favourites!

There is plenty more on the menu too, such as the buffalo wings, fries, hotdogs and burgers.

There are great retro signs and pictures on the walls.

The atmosphere is great with the 50s music blasting from the jukebox, the comfy, bright red diner booths and the waitresses dolled up in their cute 50s diner outfits. I just love going to this diner!

I also love Big Daddy’s Diner. It has a selection of yummy food too!

There is a wide variety of food to choose from on their menu.

The restaurant is located at Newtown, Darlinghurst, Surry Hills and Penrith. It is decorated with retro signs and neon signs.

The food and the atmosphere is great, I really enjoyed it. It would have been great if they also played retro music to add to the atmosphere, but it is a really enjoyable experience at this restaurant.

There is also the retro diner at the skyline drive in, that I have talked about in my previous blog: Stranded at the Drive Ins

Have you been to these diners or another retro diner? Let me know about your experience, I would love to hear about it.

Back soon….
